Make your deck public

All decks you create are private by default. When you're ready to share your work with other learners, you can publish it.

How to publish

Open the deck from My Library and use the privacy setting to switch it from private to public. You can also choose public when you first create the deck.

While you're in the deck settings, set a public title and public description. These are what other learners see in the directory, so a clear title and a sentence about what's inside make a real difference to whether anyone uses it.

Where it shows up

Public decks appear in two places:

• The public deck directory at yalango.com/decks
• The unified search at yalango.com/explore

Each public deck shows the author, the language pair, the card count, votes, and comments. Other learners can play it, save a copy to their own library, upvote it, and leave comments.

Stars and upvotes

Sharing useful decks is one of the ways to earn Yalango Stars. You earn a star when your deck becomes public, and more when other learners save or upvote it.

Going back to private

You can switch a deck back to private at any time. If you do, the stars you earned for publishing it are removed, and copies other learners already saved stay in their libraries as their own independent decks.

Before you publish

• Give it a title someone else would recognise, not "Deck 3".
• Check the language pair is right - it decides who finds your deck.
• Make sure your profile is public if you'd like the credit, since public decks link back to their author.
