Save public content to your library

You don't have to build everything yourself. Any public deck or table can be copied into your own library with the Save to my library button.

How it works

1. Find something in the deck directory, the table directory, or Explore.
2. Open it and choose Save to my library.
3. Confirm, and a copy appears in My Library.

The copy is yours. You can rename it, edit or delete cards, add custom fields, and make it public again. Later changes by the original author do not flow into your copy, and your edits never affect theirs.

Why save instead of just playing

You can play a public deck without saving it, but saving is what connects it to your own learning:

• Its cards join your vocabulary list for that language, so they show up in your spaced repetition queue.
• You can put it in a folder alongside your own material.
• You can trim it down. Public decks are often larger than you need, and deleting the words you already know makes reviews far more useful.

If you're asked about languages first

Saving needs to know where the content belongs, so you may be prompted to add a language first:

• If you don't have the deck's target language in My languages, Yalango offers to add it.
• If you have the target language but not the deck's source language pairing, you'll be asked to pick how you want to study it.

Both prompts can be resolved without leaving the page.

Duplicates

If you save the same deck twice you'll end up with two copies, which also means duplicated review items. Check your library before saving something again.
