5. The Yalango Apps for Android and iOS

The Yalango apps show the same Yalango service as the website and use the same account, so everything in this policy applies to them too. In addition:

• Signing in with Google or Apple: Google or Apple handles the sign-in on your device and shares your name and email address with us, the same as when you sign in this way on the website.
• No ads or tracking: The apps show no ads, do not use an advertising ID, and do not access your location, contacts, camera or photos. They only need an internet connection.
• Sharing to Yalango: Text and links you share to Yalango from other apps are saved to the Inbox in your account.
• Offline decks: Decks you download for offline study, and their audio, are stored on your device so you can practice without a connection.
• No purchases in the apps: The apps do not sell anything. Yalango Premium is bought on the website.
• Reporting and blocking: When you report content or a user, in the apps or on the website, we store your report and a copy of the reported content so our team can review it. People you block are stored in your account and are not told.
• Deleting your account: You can delete your account and data in the app or on the website under Settings - Account. See Delete your account for how it works.

6. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, no security measures are completely foolproof.

7. Your Rights

As a user, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data.
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format. You can download everything in your account at any time from Settings - Account, without having to ask us. The export contains your decks, cards, vocabulary, tables, notebooks, texts, study history and forum posts as JSON, plus a spreadsheet for every deck.
• Request corrections to inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your data.
• Withdraw consent for data collection and processing.

Export archives are stored for 7 days so you have time to download them, then deleted automatically. Deleting your account removes any export archives along with the rest of your data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of Yalango signifies acceptance of any changes.
