You don't have to build your vocabulary from scratch. Other learners have shared thousands of decks, and all of them are free to use.

• Explore - one search across public decks and tables, with filters for language and content type.
• Learn - pick your language to see curated collections, official decks, and courses gathered in one place.
• Your Study dashboard - suggests starter decks for the language you're learning.

Each deck shows its author, language pair, card count, votes and comments, so you can judge quality before committing.

Play now or save a copy

• Play it directly to try it out. Nothing is added to your library.
• Save to my library to get your own editable copy. This is what connects the cards to your vocabulary and your spaced repetition queue, so it's the option you want for anything you plan to learn properly. See Save public content to your library.

Your copy is independent: you can rename it, delete cards you already know, add custom fields, and even publish it again.

Choosing well

• Check the size. A 2,000-word deck is not a study plan. Prefer something you could finish, or save it and trim it down.
• Check the language pair. A deck aimed at Spanish speakers isn't much use if you're learning through English.
• Look at the votes and comments. Other learners flag decks with bad translations.
• Trim after saving. Deleting the words you already know is the single best thing you can do to make reviews feel worthwhile.
