Deck settings

Open a deck you own and choose Settings (or Deck Settings) to edit how the deck is configured.

General

• Target Language - the language you are learning
• Source Language - the language you translate into
• Target Script / Source Script - for Chinese, choose the script used on each side (for example Simplified or Traditional characters)

Save with the save button at the bottom of the modal after you change languages or scripts.

Sharing

These fields appear on the public deck page when the deck is public (see Make your deck public):

• Public Title - title shown on the public page
• Public Description - description shown on the public page

Extra

• YouTube Video ID - an 11-character YouTube ID. When set, the deck edit page can show an embedded video you can collapse while you edit cards. Useful when the deck was built from a video.
• Yalango Text ID - link the deck to a text on Yalango so related reading and vocabulary stay connected.

Default game

Separately from Deck Settings, Game Settings → Preferences has a Default game option. That preference is per language and decides which game opens when you play without picking one (for example from starter decks). See Game settings and the score screen.
