Importing decks or cards
Yalango lets you bring existing word lists into a deck instead of typing them out one by one. Open your deck and choose Import to see the available options.
CSV file
Upload a CSV (comma-separated values) file. Each row becomes one card, and the columns map to the sides of your card (typically source and target language, plus optional extras like notes or example sentences). CSV is the most flexible option and works well if you've exported your data from another tool.
Quizlet
If you have decks on Quizlet, you can import them directly. This is useful if you're moving your existing collection over to Yalango.
Text input
Paste a plain text list and have it parsed into cards. This is handy for quick lists copied from a textbook, a chat message, or a website.
Table input
Paste tabular data (for example copied straight from a spreadsheet) into a grid and turn each row into a card. This is the easiest way to bring in data that's already in columns.
After importing
Imported cards behave exactly like cards you've typed in. You can edit them, add audio or notes, and start practicing right away with any of the deck games.
