What is Yalango Premium?
Premium removes the free plan's creation and translation limits and adds the Audio game, private-deck text-to-speech, text audio, image and PDF blocks, and PDF uploads.
Most of Yalango is free. Premium is for people who hit the free plan's limits or want the audio study features.
It costs $10 per month or $80 per year, taxes included. The yearly option works out at about $6.67 a month - effectively four months free.
What Premium adds
No limits on what you create:
- Unlimited machine translations
- Unlimited decks, cards, tables, texts and notebooks
All of these are subject to fair use, so the service stays fast for everyone. If you hit a limit, contact support.
Audio:
- The Audio game for deck revision
- Text-to-speech audio for your private deck cards
- Text-to-speech audio for your texts
- A regional accent of your choice per language, such as Mexican instead of Castilian Spanish
Public decks get text-to-speech automatically on the free plan too - publishing is enough. Premium is what unlocks audio on private decks, the choice of accent, and the Audio game built on top of it.
Audio depends on Google having a voice for your language - over 50 do.

What stays free
Everything else, and that's most of the site: unlimited spaced repetition reviews, every game except Audio, folders and folder study, per-language dashboards, all the importers, reading and study modes, the public deck directory, forums, stars, and progress tracking. Speaker buttons on cards with audio play for everyone, including visitors.

Is it worth it for you?
The honest test is whether you've hit a limit. If 300 translations a month runs out halfway through, or you're at 10,000 cards, Premium solves a real problem you have.
If you mainly want audio, check first that your target language has a voice - and note that the Hanzi, Memory and Hangman games, and every other game besides Audio, are already free. Publishing a deck also generates card audio without upgrading.
Availability
Premium can only be sold in countries where our payment provider handles local sales tax, so it isn't available everywhere. If yours isn't covered you'll see a notice saying so - everything else on Yalango stays free to use.
Cancelling
You can cancel any time and keep Premium until the end of the period you've paid for, then return to the free plan. See Manage your subscription.
