What you can create in My Library

My Library is the hub for everything you create in your active target language. Use the Create button in the toolbar to add something new.

The menu is grouped into three sections.

Organization

• Folder - a container for anything else. Folders can be nested as deep as you like, and you can study every deck inside one in a single session. See Organize your content with folders.

Create content

• Notebook - a document you build from blocks: notes, headings, embedded decks, videos, images and more. Best for grammar explanations and textbook companions. See Create study material with notebooks.
• Deck - a set of cards, each with a target word and a source word. This is what the games and spaced repetition run on, and it's the right choice for vocabulary and phrases. See What is a deck on Yalango?
• Table - a grid with as many columns as you need. Use it when a single word has several related forms, like verb conjugations or noun cases. See What is a table on Yalango?

Import content

• Text - paste in reading material and study it sentence by sentence with tap-to-translate. See Import a text.
• PDF - upload a PDF to read in the app or embed in a notebook. This one requires Premium, marked with a crown in the menu.

Which should I use?

If you want it to come back in your spaced repetition queue, it has to be a deck or a table - those are the two types made of practisable items. Texts, notebooks and PDFs are reading material, though you can save words out of them into a deck as you go.

Finding things again

The library toolbar lets you filter by type (All, Folders, Decks, Tables, Texts, Notebooks, PDFs), sort by Newest, Oldest, Name (A-Z), Name (Z-A), Most Items or Fewest Items, and switch between grid and list view.

Remember that the library only shows content for your active language. If something seems to be missing, check the language selector in the menu first.
