Send feedback and track submissions
Send feedback is the best way to reach us about anything technical. It's read by the person who writes the code.
Sending it
Open Send feedback from the menu and choose a category:
- Bug report
- Feature request
- Question
- Other
Then describe it, up to 2,000 characters. You'll get confirmation that it's been received, along with a pointer to follow it up.
Tracking the reply
Your feedback becomes a thread at My submissions, where each item carries a status:
- Sent - received
- Read - seen
- In progress - being worked on
- Solved - done
You can reply in a thread, so a bug report can turn into a back-and-forth rather than disappearing. If you have notification emails on, replies and status changes are emailed to you - see Notification settings.
You earn stars for it
Feedback earns 5 stars, for up to 3 submissions a day. Reporting bugs is genuinely valuable, so it's rewarded like a contribution.
Writing a report that gets fixed
- Include the exact error message shown on the page. It usually identifies the failing step immediately.
- Say what you were doing and which page you were on.
- One issue per submission. Three bugs in one message tends to mean two get lost.
- Mention your browser and device if it looks like a display problem.
When to use something else
- A language question - the forums, where other learners can answer.
- A rule-breaking post - report it.
- Billing, privacy, or account access - email hello@yalango.com.
