If you come across a forum post or reply that shouldn't be there, report it.

How to report

Use the report option on the post or reply. You'll be asked for a reason:

  • Spam or advertising
  • Harassment or personal attack
  • Hate speech
  • Off topic for this forum
  • Misleading or wrong information
  • Something else

After submitting you'll see confirmation that a moderator will look at it.

Reports are anonymous

The author is never told who reported them. You don't need to worry about a report turning into an argument.

What happens next

A moderator reviews the report and either dismisses it or removes the content. Not every report leads to removal - "misleading or wrong information" in particular is often better handled by a reply correcting it, since a wrong answer with a correction underneath is more useful to the next reader than a deleted thread.

What reporting is not for

  • A deck with bad translations - downvote it and leave a comment saying what's wrong.
  • A bug or something broken on the site - use Send feedback.
  • A disagreement - reply and make your case.

Urgent or serious problems

For anything involving safety, privacy, or impersonation, email hello@yalango.com directly as well as reporting it, so it doesn't wait in a queue.
