Export a table

You can export any table you own, whether you want a backup, a copy to edit in a spreadsheet, or something to share outside Yalango.

Open the table and choose Export.

Choose a separator

The export is a plain text file, and you pick how the columns are separated:

• Comma (,) - the usual CSV. Best for most tools.
• Semicolon (;) - also a .csv file. Use this if your spreadsheet program is set to a locale where the comma is the decimal separator, which is common in Europe.
• Tab - saved as a .tsv file. The safest option when your content itself contains commas.

If a table opens in a single column after import, the separator is almost always the reason - re-export with a different one.

What's included

Your column names become the first row, and each table row follows in order. The file is plain text, so it opens in Excel, Numbers, Google Sheets, or any text editor.

Bringing it back in

An exported table can be imported again, either into a new table or into a deck, where you choose which columns become the target and source sides. That's a practical way to turn one column pair from a large conjugation table into a drillable deck.
