Your public profile

Your profile lives at /u/{your-username} and is what other learners see when they click your name on a deck or a forum post.

What's shown

• Your display name, @username and profile photo, with a milestone frame if you've unlocked one.
• Your equipped star title and badge, and your total stars.
• Your introduction and website, if you've filled them in.
• Your languages, with flags and level badges (Native, C2-C1, B2-B1, A2-A1, or Wishlist).
• Your unlocked milestones.
• Recent activity - your last few comments and posts.
• Your public decks.

Editing it

Everything except your languages and decks is edited under Account settings: username, display name, introduction, website, and profile photo.

Photos should be roughly square - they're cropped and resized automatically. Maximum 10 MB, in JPEG, PNG or WebP.

Your language levels are set on My languages.

Public or private

Profiles are public by default. Your profile has to be public for two things:

• Publishing a deck - you'll be asked to make your profile public first, since public decks credit their author.
• Appearing on the leaderboard.

Under Privacy Options in account settings you can control who sees your languages - Only me or Anyone - independently of the rest of your profile.

Your country is not shown

The country in your account settings is only used to check whether Premium can be sold in your country. It's never displayed on your profile. The flags on your profile come from the languages you're studying, not from where you live.
