Yes. Yalango is free to use and there are no ads, because ads are too annoying.

The free plan is meant to be enough for most learners, not a trial. You get unlimited spaced repetition reviews, all of the core games, folders, progress tracking, imports, and access to everything the community has shared publicly.

Where the free plan stops

Two kinds of limits exist on the free plan:

  • Creation limits - how many decks, cards, tables, texts and notebooks you can own.
  • Machine translations - how many automatic translations you can request per month.

You can always keep studying what you have already created. If you reach a creation limit, only new content is paused, and the translation allowance resets every month.

For the exact numbers, see Free plan limits or the pricing page.

Premium

Public decks also get text-to-speech audio for their cards on the free plan, when Google has a voice for the language. Anyone can play that audio.

Yalango Premium lifts the creation limits and adds audio for private decks, text audio, the Audio game, image and PDF blocks in notebooks, and PDF uploads. It is entirely optional.

Happy studying with Yalango!
