SRS levels and intervals
Every item in your vocabulary sits at a level. The level decides how long Yalango waits before showing it to you again.

Each level roughly doubles the wait. Answer an item correctly when it's due and it moves up one level. Get past level 8 and the item becomes Mature - it still comes back, just rarely, to keep the memory fresh.
A brand-new item sits at level 0 with no review date at all. Your first correct answer is what puts it on the schedule.
Review dates are spread by up to 5% either way, so a big batch of cards learned on the same day doesn't all come due on the same future day.
When you get something wrong
A wrong answer drops the item two levels and makes it due today. An item at level 5 goes back to level 3, not to zero, so one slip doesn't undo months of work.
The item also comes back later in the same session, usually 5 to 8 cards further on. This is called relearning, and it's why a session with mistakes runs a little longer than the number of cards you picked - up to about 50% longer at most. You have to get it right twice before it starts climbing again.
Answering early
If you practice an item well before it's due - less than halfway through its waiting period - the correct answer is recorded but the level and review date stay put. Answering early shouldn't let you rush an item to level 8 without ever actually having to remember it.
What it doesn't do
Yalango's scheduling is deliberately simple. Answers are either correct or wrong; there's no "easy / hard" rating and no per-item difficulty factor. Levels and intervals are the same for everyone.

In Browse, each item shows Level n/8 or Mature, along with its next review date, its accuracy percentage, and how many times you've answered it. Expand an item with More details for the full history.
