Daily goals and streaks

Daily goals and streaks are there to help you build a steady study habit, one short session at a time.

Daily goals

Your daily goal is the number of correct items you want to get through each day in your active language. You can set it on the Goals page.

If your schedule isn't the same every day, you can set a different goal per weekday - for example a smaller target on workdays and a larger one on weekends.

Your progress toward today's goal is shown on the Study dashboard, so you can see at a glance how much you have left.

Streaks

A streak counts how many days in a row you have studied. Streaks are kept separately for each target language, so practicing Spanish doesn't keep your Japanese streak alive.

A day counts as completed once you've finished some study activity in that language. The Streak card on the Study dashboard shows your current streak and whether today is already done.

Tip

If you're just getting started, keep your daily goal small. A goal you can hit every day is far more useful than a big one you skip.
