Sections and pages in notebooks

Notebooks are more than a single long page. Use sections as chapters and pages inside each section for lessons, notes, or exercises.

Sections

In the notebook sidebar:

1. Choose Add section to create a new section.
2. Rename a section from its menu.
3. Reorder sections by dragging (or the move controls).
4. Delete a section when you no longer need it (pages inside it go with it).

Sections keep large notebooks navigable - for example one section per textbook unit.

Pages

Each section holds pages. Add, rename, reorder, and delete pages the same way. Page content is built from block types (text, decks, tables, video, and more).

Study mode search and display

Open Study on a notebook. Use Search in notebook... to filter pages and blocks by text.

Study Display Settings (shared with text study settings) control zoom / text size, pinyin for Chinese, and show the keyboard shortcuts:

• ← / → - previous / next page
• + / - - zoom
• Esc - exit study mode
