Learning German! Hello!

Why I started learning: I wanna explore the German internet (and the internet of other countries and different languages) and to make friends! I also wanna learn more languages someday! But I gotta start small, yknow?

What I'm finding hardest right now: LONG WORDS! I feel like I'm developing the fear of long words LOL! I will get there eventually! I think most are compound words? Which reminds me of a book series I loved as a kid and still in the fandom for to this day (Warrior Cats). The names there have prefixes and suffixes!
Did you know the word for the fear of long words is "hippopotomonstrosesquipedaliophobia?" Its hilarious to me! XD

Something unrelated about me: I'm in way too many communities with a bunch of hobbies! My main hobbies are talking to others and making characters (ocs: original characters)! Most of my hobbies are based on one or both!
